Taking care of your mental and physical well being is absolutely your responsibility. No one else can do it for you. Self care of body and mind is important not just to make  you feel better, but also to discover your abilities and perform better and in the long run be able to help others better.

Self-care is not a selfish act, it is the most important part of being a good human being, a good citizen of this Planet.

Desiring care, love, or approval from others around you weighs you down and will not allow you to move forward.

You have the capacity to love yourself. You have been criticizing yourself for so long, just turn it around, get kind with yourself. Observe how kind you are with others, and use the same technique and be kind to  yourself, speak words of kindness to yourself.

Believe in yourself, you are born with amazing gifts. The more you believe in yourself, the more you will discover the gifts you are born with.  Place your hand on your heart and tell yourself many times during the day, “I love you”.

Approve and accept yourself. When  you approve yourself, you get to develop  your self esteem. Do not replicate what others see as success. Everyone’s path is unique and different. Be patient with yourself. Imagine that you are your own little child and parent yourself. Be the kindest parent to the little child in you.

Bring self-compassion for yourself. Look at the past as a means of growth. You are now in a better place because of the past experiences. You are enough. Life moves you in amazing ways to gather the wisdom you need to handle the things in front of you. You did the things you needed to do in the past in order to gather wisdom for this time now. Place your hand on your heart in silence many times during the day and tell yourself, “I love myself, I am wise, I am wonderful.”

Validate  yourself, looking for validation from the world outside creates extreme stress. Desire for validation creates enormous fear in everything you do. Self approval and self acceptance is the key to release stress and bring positive changes.  Having a good day depends on how good you make it for you. Live the day in the most pleasant place you can, give yourself the love, kindness and choice to be happy for no reason.

Taking good care of yourself is an important part of growth, when you don’t take care of yourself, you send your body the message that you are not worthy of love and care. This will reflect in all aspects of your life. Self-care is a necessary investment so that you shine as the best version of  yourself. When you practice self-care you automatically get to let go all unhealthy habits of criticizing yourself, letting go things that do not support you like bad jobs, unhealthy relationships and beliefs that keep you small. The goal is not to be perfect but to become wholesome in body, mind and spirit.

When  you love, approve and appreciate yourself, you feel beautiful within you. You are so satisfied that you don’t need that love, approval or appreciation from anyone else. So instead of craving for someone else to love, approve or appreciate you, you start giving the love, approval and appreciation to others, because you are now overflowing and you have so much more to give.  And now every action you perform is from the place of happiness, beauty, joy and conscious connection and  not because someone has to approve or appreciate what you do.

Trying to prove to others, trying to be what others want you to be and desiring for love and appreciation from others by dancing to their tunes is the greatest loss in life. Give yourself permission to be yourself, allow yourself to live each moment of life as an amazing journey, choosing to be happy and doing the things that your heart desires to do.

Restore yourself, love and respect  your own wishes, keep your time and energy precious and choose how to use them for your well being and growth. Self care keeps your mind in a pleasant space so that you can tap into this pleasantness even in the midst of chaos of a hectic life.
