To be authentically human is to be an instrument of peace on the Planet.

Humans are powerful beings that are the bringers of love, joy, peace to the world by their intention and their attention.

During troubled times it is important to get back into being our authentic selves. Being our authentic selves involves waking up and becoming conscious creator beings for the Planet.

The Planet is a fertile ground that accepts the seeds of human intention and allows it to grow.

The law of sowing and reaping is the law of this Planet. What we sow, we reap. This law applies to the individual and also to the collective.

If the times have become tough and troubled, it is simple to understand that we have forgotten our human-ness of being the bringers of love, joy, and peace.

During ancient times many saints, masters, teachers and those who have understood the law of sowing and reaping have encouraged people to become conscious, there are many powerful prayers and mantras to invoke peace in the hearts of each individual and for the collective humanity.

One of the prayers close to my heart is the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi. This prayer for peace goes like this:

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console,

to be understood as to understand,

to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

This Prayer exposes the truth of the law of sowing and reaping. To bring light to the darkness so that the darkness may dissolve in the light. We are powerful beings and we can make peace our choice and priority.

I love this Sanskrit Prayer for peace.

“Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu”

It is a sacred prayer which means, ” May all beings everywhere be happy and free & May my thoughts, words and actions contribute to that happiness and freedom for all.”

It is a prayer of love for the world around us.

It is a prayer that moves us from our egoic limited world view to a greater global well being. Again this is a prayer of sowing seeds of love and compassion.

According to the Vedic tradition, this ancient prayer has been used for many centuries to invoke greater states of compassion and peace personally within oneself and for the collective humanity.

“Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu”

We are all One!  As a human collective we share the One Universal Consciousness. Our conscious intention and attention influences the All.  We have the power to bless ourselves, bless each other and bless this beautiful Planet with our conscious attention and intention.

I very much resonate with this Native American Prayer for Peace that is used as the United Nations Prayer for Peace. The prayer goes like this:

“O Great Spirit of our Ancestors, I raise my pipe to you.

To your messengers the four winds,

and to Mother Earth who provides for your children.

Give us the wisdom to teach our children to love, to respect,

and to be kind to each other so that they may grow with peace in mind.

Let us learn to share all the good things you provide for us on this Earth.”

Today as we see our world in chaos, it is very important to wake up to our Divinity, to become our authentic selves.

Let peace be our Priority.

Let us consciously give our attention and our intention to bring peace and compassion in our heart and for the world around us.

Let every thought, word and action  arise from peace and compassion and impact the world around us.

Let us honor the Divinity within us.
